‘I will, with God’s help’
Exploring Discipleship through the Baptismal Covenant

Led by Canon Theologian Jeffrey Metcalfe, this learning group offers an exploration of Christian discipleship through the lens of the Baptismal Covenant. We will learn about some of the basics of Christian belief and practice through both reflection, prayer, and the crafting of a rule of life. We will begin by reflecting on and affirming our faith in the Holy Trinity as grounding for our life together. We will then proceed to take up that life ethically, reflecting on the Baptismal Covenant's vows, and how they might shape our rules of life.

This learning group can be used as a part of the preparation for those seeking baptism, confirmation, or the renewal of their baptismal vows.

We will be meeting both in person at Church House (29 rue des Jardins in Quebec City, next to the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity), as well as online. All those registered for this group will receive a link for the online access the week before the group begins.

The group will meet at 7:00 p.m. (Eastern) on the following dates in 2025:
