Sexual assault, sexual harassment, or sexual abuse of any kind, whether to an adult, adolescent, or child, by or to any staff person, contract employee, or volunteer in the church, will not be tolerated. To report an incident of sexual misconduct, contact the Designated Officer of Synod, Stephen Kohner. This policy, most recently revised in 2023, continues to be a work in progress, and feedback is welcome. Comments may be directed to the chair of the diocesan Safe Church Working Group, Mary Thaler.
